So here i sit yet again with a max derate on my new pete after yet another dealer claimed they fixed it, (8 and counting at this point) So far i have had the whole system pulled and cleaned by pete, replaced the quality sensor, doser, both nox sensors the SCR sensors, Soot can, Def filter, DPF filter, wireing harness, ECM, pump, cooler, ALL of the lines, injector, fuses, fuse box had the tank dropped and cleaned and then replaced with a new tank and had the whole ECM function tested. As well as all previous work double checked....twice.
My warranty aggerate for the year is basically spent and i have poured almost $20K into this between tows, parts, and downtime even after warranty covering more then half of this mess.....i am at a total loss at this point. I dont even know what else there is left to check and even this latest pete dealer is flumixed and agast at my repair list. Does anyone have ANY advice on what can posibly be left to check at this point?

Has DEF tank heat valve been replaced?
pushbroom and QUALITYTRUCK Thank this. -
These hard to trace intermittent problems almost always end up being hidden wiring rubs or shorts/opens.
What faults you have that keep returning? -
Sorry for late reply it ended up derated again towed and got "fixed" then derated again just now. And its been a huge list. All related to SCR and def quality however.
Lastest one is P3818. Also to add to replaced parts above. Def tank wireing harness. def tank heater valve, Coolant lines and computer dump and reprogram. -
Also at this point anyone know a good shop that can swap a 3406E or C15 for this paccrap MX13? If i can get this crap engine functional long enough to make some money i am going to run it until i have the money to remove it and take it to a range with 2000 pounds of tanerite and a .50 cal.... I would delete it but frankly considering how poor my luck is i would have a major breakdown the day after i do it and need a dealer to repair it.

Another update. Peterbilt appleton "fixed" the issue after it went in again. Found my decomp pipe was incorrectly installed and cleaned the massive crystal buildup out then reinstalled it. Also did a full test on the aftertreatment harness and engine harness. No issues found. They then did 2 50 mile road tests amd a regen found everything in spec. Got 200 miles and boom max derate towed in yet again.
