They have too much phoenix freight now to only reserve it for teams. I don't mind solo's running out here but if climate is running that one specific customer 3 times a week then when i have asked dispatch directly what happened to that specific run an they tell me we're not getting that run because smith foods is giving it to another carrier that can do it cheaper , well i personally call that being a lie right to my face and i don't appreciate being lied to. All they gotta do is just be honest an say they're spreading that run around to other drivers or that it's simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time to get planned on it.

It gets pretty dang hot out here in the summer. We run the truck when it gets over 95 out here cuz the apu won't keep up. But yea it is nice out here. Sometimes if it works out right then i can get my truck washed an wheels polished at Danny's Big Rig Resort. They use a buffer on the rims. Our truck currently needs cleaned up at a beacon. They washed it at the yard while i was at the doctor's office on friday. They did a horrible job of course. Left soap film all over it. Didn't even get all the bug guts off the body. Left my rims all dulled up. Sometime I'd love to just ask someone in charge in a rude manner why they even bother. Yea i know ya catch more flys with honey but dang it , they screw up the wash job every stinking time. It gets old.bryan21384, Lumper Humper and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Yep..being honest is the right thing to do..outright lying to drivers is one of the big reasons why carriers lose drivers like they do...some drivers might not like being told their spreading it around but that’s their problem...dishonesty is unacceptableLumper Humper, Dennixx and Professor No-Name Thank this.

Also we do have a driver that lives out here not far east of phoenix. He relocated from Missouri. We swapped trailers with him one time.bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

I know we have what seems to be a lot of Hershey loads coming out here. The 3 a week I'm referring to is from smith foods in pacific mo to system / u s foods here in phoenix. 1 specific shipper and consignee.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

I see you changed your tag pic.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Or they brokered it out to another carrier....I mean who else is dropping trailers there besides us? I see trucks getting live loaded there periodically, and I figured Climate had their own brokerage because once they sent me a macro point link lol, I think it was a Smith Foods load. They ain't going to spill the beans too much on what goes on behind the scenes. Dispatch probably didn't know for real.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Oh yeah, I knew what you were saying totally. I've heard some of the other guys and gals taling Hershey down there too, I think to Goodyear or some place.Lumper Humper and Professor No-Name Thank this.

I've been to 4 or 5 different places with Hershey loads out here in phoenix area so far and still haven't been to the place in goodyear. I've been told it is a Mc clane.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

Dispatchers here double as planners. I've been told by Robert an travis both that the freight on both boards is all the same and that it makes no difference wether a driver is on their board or justin an rich's board as far as miles an runs. Yet everytime i talk to a driver on justin an rich's board the difference is obvious.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.
