Being through some similar situations, I dont have any good advise. Except its not his or your fault. Its tough, but I felt the oldman took care and provided for me for 18 years. It was the least I could do.

That's the thing here too. I have I-tunes, pandora, I-heart and I'm going to put a dual band vhf/uhf in the truck. I just figured I would try it for awhile. There is 3 months free. Figure if I don't like it by then, I will cancel. I just get so friggin board listening to the same stuff 16 hours a day, day in and day out. I have been looking for a pod cast, but not having much luck. I did find one the day before I got home on the revolutionary war. Pretty darn good. Just exploring options. I had xm when it first came out. The unit came in a friggin bag and it had a cassette adapter for my truck....lol...no joke.

My old stereo was pretty awesome. I had 4 tweeters, 4 mids, 6 factory replacement speakers, 2 8s and 2 15s. It actually cracked the sleeper of my 9900 I had at the time. Guy said it was the first time he's every seen that.....lol.

 

Honestly the only reason I've thought about getting it is for the news. I've got the MLB app for my Rays games and Iheartradio. My play list on there is perfect. It even adds things based on my tastes. So there is some variety. I did pay for the no commercials. But I don't have a source for news like Fox. Unless I want to stream it on my TV. But that doesn't help when I want to listen to it while I drive down the road.

 

Yeah, I wanted some depressing news and some talk radio aswell. If I don't like it after 3 months....owell I guess.

 

It sucks watching someone go thorough dementia, i watched my grandma and great great aunt go through it. Nothing easy about it.

 

I don't think no one be the wiser that you done that shine job by hand if you didn't say.?
