I give every load the best I've got. Every customer gets treated the same, like they're shipping pure gold. Not only is it the right thing to do, but also because I'm selfish.

Stop with the secrets! Amazing what proper equipment and a decent attitude can accomplish these days. Even the minimum is well received nowadays.
But I agree with you Gents, till given a reason. I have no use for customers, shippers, receivers that wanna jerk you around.
Sorry was quoting @PoleCrusher and @OLDSKOOLERnWVFatboy42, singlescrewshaker, PoleCrusher and 1 other person Thank this. -
Even if a customer jerks me around, I still treat them and their freight with care and respect. We might never haul for them again, and we try to get word out if they're particularly egregious, but they're still our customer until they're not.MACK E-6, Fatboy42, singlescrewshaker and 3 others Thank this.

On a different but same note what do you all think about blind shipments. I will haul them if provided a BOL. I’ll not make one up for the shipper. I will not tell the customer about it but if asked questions I’ll not lie to the customer. Example had a load (blind shipment) picked it up signed paperwork and the shipper gave me the packing list had their name on it not the blind load BS I deliver the load and they sign my paperwork and ask me did you haul this all the way from x location on BOL. Nope here’s your packing list. They said so you hauled it from there. Yep. I have no idea if someone brought it there and I was hired to take it to you but have a great day. I will not lie for someone ain’t happening.
beastr123 Thanks this.
