    Nice day today.
A pplan came in this morning on a Costco load to Lenexa, KS. (Dry, finally.)
Pick up at 10 and deliver at 2100, less than 400 miles. Costco always wants them picked up way too early for the delivery appointment.
I got it there at 1745. The manager was happy to see me and there was even an mt for me.

Headed to Edwardsville terminal for the night.
Tomorrow I pick up at a Walmart DC in Kansas City going to a Walmart DC in Grove City, OH, so that is a nice load as well.

    dwells40 and FerrissWheel Thank this.

It seems loads out of OH going west are scarce. My next load didn't pick up until 1600 today, headed to Mason City, IA.
My last load out of there was the exact same load, except for the times.
    Coca Cola in Columbus.

This time I got lucky with my live load turning out to be preloaded.
They are heavy loads, mostly up front. With the tandems all the way forward I scaled at 33,400 on the drives.

Plenty of time on this load so I stopped for the night at the Dayton TA.

other driver taking next week off.
usually leave around 0600 from terminal but said I leave around 0500 so he can get back to Denver early.
woke up at 0300, so ended up leaving at 0400.
puts me in beaver ut between 1300 and 1330 depending if I take a 30

    Monee, IL at the Petro.

Accident traffic on I-80 W ran out my 70 so I could not make my Home Depot delivery in Joliet this evening.
There is about a 10 mile stretch from the I-80/I-294 split that was between 0 and 4 MPH. I made it as far as I-57 and headed south for this place.

    jurupa terminal.
replacement driver didn't make these trip due to snow in Denver.
so I ended up going to pheonix.
.picked load up at Michelin in San Bernardino and didn't have the security code to pick up load.
waited for 45 min for car to give it to me.
had a weds. 6am live unload in pheonix and just made it to pheonix terminal Tuestay at 1850 so I could get a 10 in and get to final b4 0600.
got there at 0530 weds and they said to park by fence. be about 2 hrs for someone to come get me.
ended up being there till 1100 and headed for Pepsi for a live lloaf?appt b4 1200.
    made it at 1145.
that went normal and made the delivery drop at Pepsi warehouse in San Bernardino around 2100 .
so waiting here for my 10 to end to make 2bd trip. this time other driver is coming to beaver so should be there around 1800.
    fun day yesterday lol

I just looked. It is currently 73 degrees in Denver.
    Did someone travel through time?

I guess sometimes it feels that way in Denver.
Many years ago it was around 70 in the early afternoon, and by late afternoon it was upper 20's and snowing hard.
There was a concert at Red Rocks and all those people were in t-shirts and tank tops and shorts.
Needless to say, many people needed help.

Maybe some overnight snow flurries spooked the driver?

And DP, you usually have some real BS to put up with, with that gig you are running.
One thing after another, after another.

    jurupa valley at home.
I had picked up at the terminal yesterday and switched with other driver in beaver ut.
got as far as cedar city at loves for the nite. was really tired.
on the way to terminal I got alot of .essaged. so I called a dl in jurupa and asked what it was.
was licking up a load at the terminal and taking it to pheonix terminal.
then.ljcking one up down the street and tcalling it back to jurupa.
asked her what happened to the other driver that I can't go to beaver.
she had no clue. saying my dl gave me the load.
so I called him and he said that the load I gave him was suppose to go to chino ca not Loveland co.
final was even on the b.o.l. i gave him but I didn't look when I left jurupa. so he is taking it to chino ca.
so I get trip going to pheonix? and back again.
happened to the other team too so dont feel that bad.
the 2 drivers that picked the load up in San Diego should of caught it.
the trailer number and the bol number matched with the dispatch. just the final didn't
probably get an earful when my dl gets back from vacation Monday.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.
