The payroll cutoff at Prime is 1600 central time on Tuesday. When I get a week with those kinds of miles it's usually a load that picks up Sunday and delivers Wednesday, then a Wednesday to Saturday, and then a Saturday to Tuesday load. So what ends up happening is that you get one week with about 25-4000 miles, and then the next week you have 75-8000 miles on the check.
My miles lately are averaging out to a little over 5000 a week, and hopefully will keep that pace thru New Years.

I knew what you were talking about... one week is shorter, then next is huge... average between the two.
You always want to get that load in before the cutoff of Tues... but if it doesnt happen... Oh well, your still getting paid for it, just the following week. -

Arrived on the bus with about 20 other drivers. The bus ride from St Louis was not fun some guy had a seizure and we had to pull over and call the paramedics. Did i mention i did not like bus rides.
We had to take a simulator test and they gave us paperwork to fill out for tomorrow.

What's up with the simulator test as soon as you arrive? What did that consist of?
Keep us posted. Thanks and good luck. -
Good Question! Whats up with a test before you even have any training?
-
All of us arriving already have our CDL's the simulator is a test to see if you can drive or not. Rather than out on the road you sit in this and drive while it scores you on your actions. It was not hard.
RichJimTheHut Thanks this.
