10, 14, 24 hours

I took this dry van job with understanding. Told them reefer madness was killing me. Can’t do that. Need some sane running. They agreed. That’s what I got. They required 3 years experience. I get to do fun deliveries. Like downtown Boston. Or right on Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood. So anyways.... help understanding.
I hate running all night long. They asked me to take a load to NY, then Maryland. Delivery Monday morning at 8. 1800 miles to NY. My 34 wasn’t up till 9pm Friday. Told them I’d take it out early Sat morning, 3am. But need delivery pushed back to afternoon. Can’t make it 8am. Ain’t gonna head out at 9pm. Run all night for three nights. No... They ended up brokering that load out. Gave me another that works.
