On your 6x2. Are both axles drives, or is it a single drive axle. I drive a 6x2. I love it. But it can be aggregating.
If its a single drive axle. Get really familiar with the load transfer, the differential, when and how far to lower the suspension for traction. lower tire pressure in the winter. How close to the edge of the road to get. Cause the wide tires will pull sometimes slide. Chaining. these big tires are a .m/fer. Learn to take off with out spinning tires on dry ground.
After you get moving it like any other truck. Just that take off can be tricky. And uneven ground. But up to jersey and back. Your first winter will break you in, by the second you'll be a seasoned pro.
Need help anyone running 6x2??

I was stuck in vt and me. When I was first learning to drive a single drive axle. I've gotten pretty well with it now. I do wish the boss would just put the 8 tires back on. I'm not looking forward to a blow out.
