I heard you were heading there. I take it a good time was had by all, now get the old boy back on here, I miss him...

 

I know what you mean, and understand the frustration. For those that have never drove a castrated truck, it may be hard to understand how trying it can be moving a heavy load through hills.

Of course, some of them are just inconsiderate and oblivious to the world around them. Like the guy going up a grade at 30 & ½ mph trying to pass a truck doing 30 & ⅓ mph. Yes, he's a moron. Unfortunately, nothing any of us can do about it.

 

Said he don't have time. I now know how a abandoned puppy feels. Covered wagon camp is smaller without him.

I hear you, we talk from time to time, trying to get him back on here. I may have to take a run down there...

 

I picked up a lucrative contract hauling O/S sheds with this C70 (5&2), goes real good downhill, uphill too if you can keep the spring wound up...

 

Oh man, that is just too cool!

My little motor only knows how to go down hill. Put any weight on the wagon and she falls on her nose. We're the truck in the right lane getting laughed at by all the real trucks.

 

LOL, I'm right there with you. At my age (60) both truck & me are slow going, but we're both still in pretty good shape overall. I'll find out next month if I still qualify for my 2 year card, hope so anyway...

That is certainly one thing I dislike about having lots of mountains around.

Been raining most of the day..... supposed to rain most of the week. We need the rain but we took the week off to enjoy ourselves and celebrate us staying hitched thirty four years today.

Guess I'll work on building a wetbar for the lake she's been wanting me to get done.
