And it still looks better from higher altitudes. It's prominence is unmatched by anything other than the volcanic peaks of the West Coast. To my eye, it looks best from the NW, and the NE above 6500'. Any of the views from the south half of the compass aren't as good because there's too much surrounding high ground.

Florida, I liked trucking in that State. Great memories. I liked all the States. I liked Connecticut in the Fall also and New Hampshire.
America is a beautiful Country. Utah, California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, yeah, I love America. Just the way it is. America has been good to me.

Considering only natural beauty, the winner is California.

I did it once in a truck but have done it several times on a motorcycle. It was more fun on the motorcycle!

New Mexico because it's the oldest designated wilderness area and yet still somehow not overrun by commerce and drugs like Washington/Oregon/Colorado. untouched earth that's still in the state it was created radiates something healing just to be there. maybe it's just the lack of people and surplus clean air, wyoming feels the same way but only out in the open between murder towns

Any of the western 11, but if I had to choose, I'd say Montana.
