Second Covid vaccine shot

Ill get my 2nd shot of Pfizer in about 2 weeks. Funny thing on 4/21 I took my daughter to the doctor because she coughed in class. School kicked her out and said she needs a note saying that its not Covid. Well it was Covid. She tested positive(she's 15) my wife and I had been around her the previous days, we made her basically stay in her room for the next 10 days. Neither of us caught it, we tested negative.

 

Just had second Pfizer last Friday. Mildly sore arm for about a day with each, no other side effects for me.

 

I got first Moderna shot yesterday...no side effects...well, checked my shoulder last night,,huge lump!!! Reached under my shirt and aaah lump was a cotton ball taped to cover needle puncture

 

Ain’t no way in h3ll I’m getting that shot

 

I finally decided to get this shot the other day and today scheduled to get it at the VA hospital on the 18th. It's my understanding this shot will be the single one. I have generally avoided ALL debates about COVID and these shots and will continue to do so. HOWEVER, I am getting this shot, but not happy about any of it.

 

I got my shots at the Dallas VA. It was well organized in and out pretty quickly.

 

I got the Johnson & Johnson single dose shot @10AM EDT this morning! So far I have not become king kong! My arm hurts a bit and I have developed a bit of a stiff neck!

 

I am getting my 2nd shot today. If I am not pushing up daisies in a few days I will let you know.
