Heard of many tools out there including maxwells batteries. For cold start. Any one can suggest something that can give you quick jump start without calling road service

I have a 4,000 amp NOCO Genius. Works good for Texas winters anyway.
Roman78 Thanks this. -
Portable gas generator with outlet and cord for 12 volt charging(I use a champion gas generator). Have charged my cat deep cycle batteries in -34 celsius temps and started my truck and a couple of others as well. Cost me about $500. Has many other uses as well. Used it for power tools on truck repairs and also to run the sleeper power and air conditioner.

With a good set of jumper cables you can use your personal vehicle. Most new cars have as big or bigger alternators than trucks. I have a 19 challenger with a 165 amp and a 19 1500 with a 220 amp. With 00 welding cables I can jump any truck in about 10min.

doesnt work well when i am 1200 miles from home. Too far to walk or get the wife to drive over. -
But yeah I’ve used my pickup to jump start the truck and vice versa.
Once used the rig to start my pickup and pickup to start a farm tractor. -
4 good batteries you shouldn't have a problem. We'd fire up trucks at 30 below with no issues.
bzinger Thanks this. -
