I’ve been to a few Freightliner and Peterbilt dealers that have had a good selection at the time.

If you ask the parts man at any dealer if they have any take outs from new trucks that the buyer wanted a upgraded drivers seat in their new truck, you can find a row of seats in the back room for a big discount, finding the right color is the problem, l liked the cloth seat because when l would get back in the truck after untarping then retarping the load stop after stop soaking wet from fla. heat and be dried out faster than vinyl or leather seats ?

Where did you get the leather version? I was looking for this type of seat before I got mine.

A local towing company had them for sale. Removed from wrecked city buses. I bought 4 and put them in all of my trucks

The ones I was most interested in are:

    Knoedler Air Chief
    Minimizer
    Sears Atlas

However, I haven't seen any of these in person. So I'm basing this all off of their description of features.

If the original seat covers are still good, just order new bottom and back seat foam cushion from the seat manufacturer and your seat will be as good as new.

New seat foam isn’t expensive and you’ll spend less than $175 to recondition your old seat.

The seat is old and pretty ratty and never was very comfortable. I just want to spend the money and get a darned good seat. I spend alot of time in it.....so the money doesn't bother me. I do have a hard time spending that kinda money sight unseen though. Because what happens if you don't like it?

Is there a seat that's better for the prostate?

My seat is too hard and I'm going to replace it at some point in the not-too-distant future also.

Try the purple pillow thing. Might help and it's cheap....compared to a seat anyway.

purple pillow seat cushion truck at DuckDuckGo

Look under the shopping tab.....4 state has some different options.

    Just a thought.
