    Hunter-Douglas; Dutch Corporation,venetian blind maker,
came to Verona, MS several years ago. Quietly inquired as
to whom was the best warehouse manager in the Tupelo
area. A man who had run a Colgate/Palmolive op in NJ; but
returned south to be more at home, was recommended. He
was employee #1. He retired on age a few years ago. I was
in the material handling business from about 1974 to 1992.
His overall operation was the best I've ever seen. It was in
and out,and he always knew where it was.

Hey OP, this trucker is wearing flip flops and regularly wears flip flops in her videos. Does this trigger you? Totally unprofessional driver, isn't she? Lol

Think your making a dumb point. She one is posting a thirst trap. Two she is cleaning her truck. You should see the dassie dukes I wear when washing my truck in the driveway. Size bear. Most of my customers would bounce her out on her plastic chest for entering a plant like that.

What you do on your free time is up to you. But I dont weld without a shirt, its common sense.

It’s about time you contributed something useful to this thread. Why the hard on for Six? Is it hitting a little too close to home?

I’d like to think I’m above average but only because I work at it every day. Most of my co workers are relatively clean cut, professional, and know how to get any size load down the road safely. The ones who aren’t or can’t do those things don’t last.

I try to keep my equipment as clean as possible. The inside is always clean, never have trash anywhere but in my trash bag that gets tossed almost daily. I would be mortified if I opened my door at a customer and trash came tumbling out. It’s quite common to back inside a plant or a hanger to get loaded so my customers see my truck up close and personal, much more so then a box jockey.

I keep my equipment organized and ready to go. I’m also always thinking about the next load so I can work smart while working hard.

For instance I delivered this partial nacelle on Thursday morning. C371FB40-F710-4032-A42E-227332FB6C49.jpeg I used 4 chains, 4 shackles, and 8 ratchet binders. I knew I was loading this truck in the afternoon so I kept 4 ratchets and 4 chains out. 52BB479D-CE2D-4482-96A1-ECE9645E70E2.jpeg Everything else got lubed and put away, ready to go for next time. A slight bit of effort goes a long way towards being a more professional driver.
