Anyone on here an expert on these things?
I serviced mine yesterday. Changed the oil, oil filter, and fuel/water separator but not the inline fuel filter. Also degreased the engine and radiator with purple power and then hosed it all off.
1.5 gals of oil on refill (delo 15w40)
Prefilled the fuel/water separator filter with offroad diesel (from the same tank that I use for my tractor)
Afterwards I started it up and it started but smoked like hell. Looked like a hung injector. That lasted a minute or less and cleared up and then shut itself off and tripped breaker.
Reset breaker and restarted and it would fire and run a brief second and shutoff and trip breaker.
After a few times I drained the separator and refilled again and now it just turns over but no fire and trips the breaker. See video
I'm gonna get the inline filter today and see if it will start.
Also, hit it with a shot of starting fluid (small squirt) and it will start and run briefly.
Ran fine prior to the service but may have had an oil leak which is the reason for cleaning the engine.
APU expert?

You might have gotten some water and degreaser where it ought not be......wiring, ecm....connector...etc. take connectors apart and let them air out. Then add a small amount of Dielectric grease. That is where I would start. Good luck.
WREN Thanks this. -
@shooter19802003 thats what I'm hoping also. Hopefully it dried out over night and today before I mess with it again

Is it a thermomking? You should hear a really fast clicking noise along with the buzzer sound when you first switch it on , the clicking sound is the fuel pump priming up . i did not hear that in the video. Mine sounded exactly like yours , cranking and cranking and cranking , never turning over would turn over ans fire for a couple seconds and then shut off. Bad fuel pump. They are easy to replace. The 2 bolts you see on the front of the frame there, should be the fuel pump if it is like mine.

You’ve lost prime and they are a pain to get going again. I would confirm that the lift pump is working, then cycle it about a dozen times without letting it start. There’s a Phillips screw head on the banjo bolt for a injector line. Let it spin over and crack the line to let air out and be ready to close it when it starts to run.
@reeferwrencherp608, WREN and reeferwrencher Thank this. -

In front corner bottom. Sounds like electric pump not working. -
Electric pumps is working fine and I have it running after spending a couple hours on it. But, it ran for about 45 mins before and died and acted like it wasn't primed. So I got it going again and will see this time.

It could be fuel shut off solenoid. You can unbolt it to see,it will dribble a little oil.
