Memphis Bridge westbound

I’m going over EB 0 dark 30 Sunday. Hopefully not much traffic then.

 

Just came from the eastbound no delay took the 55 around it

 

I don’t see how that would work. First of all barges aren’t all that stable, and second, it would cut off barge traffic up and down the river.

 

You've never run across lake Washington on Seattle's floating bridge....!!

 

I came through last night about 10 with no delay.

 

How did it go? I went EB this morning too around 2:10am. Took 55 back to 40. Easy peasy, and never even slowed down.

 

take it up with the Coast Guard.... they are the ones that said it...

 

Question I have is why can't the patch the bridge. They are saying the beam was cracked back in 2019. So for two years it hasn't fell in yet. Align beam back and weld 4 plates to hold it together.

 

Maybe Arkansas and Tennessee was in an argument who that bridge belong to , and what state have to pay repair damage?
