You will never get it all out of the hidden spots. My Pete hasn’t been in a cotton field since 2001 and last year I was changing out the crank dampener and noticed through a bolt hole that the radiator support crossmember was packed full of cotton seed blown up from the steer tires years ago.
ChevyCam, Dale thompson, Dino soar and 1 other person Thank this. -
Take the truck down the highway during a downpour, then when it’s still raining hit it with the power washer

Nothing magic, just a hot water pressure washer and a little common sense. Don't get too close to wiring, air lines, don't hit the rad at an angle etc.
Won't hurt the wiring or ECM if they get wet as long as you aren't actively feeding the water to it from close range. A little overspray shouldn't be an issue.Brettj3876 Thanks this. -
If it's former life was on a farm.. and they hauled grain... just wait till you start on the inside ...

I remember using live steam on old Freightliner cabovers at Chem Leaman's rebuild shop, worked 3 out of 4 summers in two of their shops and the rebuild had live steam and you could blast away at all the grease and oil caked road grime making it clean enough that the dyno guys could just walk around in their hearing protection and clip board noting all the oil leaks 'N stuff while it sat on the rollers doing 55.

There’s dust everywhere lol but I can handle the inside no prob

^^^^^^^^ you have no idea how many places soy bean hulls and bees wings can hide.. and how many times you will think you have it spotless clean and find out different or when you turn on the fan for the HVAC right after each time you have cleaned it... only to feel like you are the Grand Marshal and a ticker tape parade
LameMule Thanks this.
