Peterbilt keeps breaking airbag studs

Just replace the #### leveling valve and quit talking about it. lol.

That was my first thought also.

 

Check your torque rod that goes from the top of the axle over to the frame, make sure its not broken or loose, which would let your axle walk sideways

 

I forgot to tell you about checking your shocks. I had the thought that maybe the shaft had broken. I checked all 4 of mine in truck stop parking lot. Nothing wrong with mine.

Measure the ride height.
Measure from the ground to bottom of frame. Measure from ground to center of drive axle. There should be a round dimple in the axle shaft, it's easy to measure.
Take and subtract the two measurements you got, that is your ride height.

I had a load gauge in mine. I didn't see the pressure get above 70psi yet I was having the same problem as you are.

Drove truck about 550 miles one day parked for the night. Next morning drove about 5 miles and low air alarmed. Bag has rubbed on tire when it broke the stud. Limped home with bags deflated. Replaced bag. Grabbed another trailer and took off. 200 miles later same dang thing. Found a bag in that town, replaced in old store parking lot. Would have gotten leveling valve but they didn't have one. Off I go again. 100 miles later stopped to pee, go to take off and hear a pop. Sure enough bag was sticking out the side. By this time everything was closed for the day. Next morning got a taxi ride and got a bag from the dealer and a leveling valve. Replaced both in pilot truck stop. Never had another issue after that. I was ready to set it on fire I do know that.
