Thx, going through the pre-hire onboarding at Old Dominion now. Just filled out my I9 - drug test on Monday. I'm assuming I will sign off on a background check soon - but not yet....
Illinois has a new Ammendment (1480) that really makes it hard for a company to discriminate or make a adverse hiring decision especially when mine happened 25 years ago when I was 18.

 

I'm not too familiar with that area. But I think I know some one who is. Its sounds like you got it under control thou.

 

I believe so. It's been a long road of wondering but I think the end is close!

 

Just wanted to update that OD has finally givin my start date for next week for a P&D driver hired straight out of CDL school.
I'm very excited/relieved - ready to work.

Wanted to ask if I have a dui and it was 9 years ago, do you think that's gonna be a problem? It wasn't even alcohol related. I got caught with a bag of weed and they arrested me. They did a blood test and hit me with a dui. That was 2016. I've had a clean record since.
