Of those two, if you want refrigerated, go with Prime and if you want flatbed, go with Maverick.
Have you looked at other companies also?

Which state do you live in?
Which division with Prime; refrigerated, tanker, flatbed?

Be prepared for a hair follicle drug test.
Some still just do urine drug test.

 

Both are decent choices to get the new career started.

Majority of my career is refrigerated trucking, but have done flatbed.
Flatbed is much less stressful than refrigerated and the customers are easier to deal with.
I've also done tanker and that's a good choice. Western Dairy Transport hauls milk.

 

Have you looked at Raider Express? No contract with their school.

 

A few drivers on this forum went with Western Dairy and had nothing negative to say.
Anyway, Maverick or Prime will be ok for you to get the new career started.

You can get with a smaller company that will pay better and give you more training. There are a lot of good ones out there.
