No need to wait in line. Just mount a diesel generator on your truck, and keep it running 24/7 with your truck plugged into it. BOOM, free electricity.

    Wait a minute....

You won't be able to use any containers in the truck for that just like hazmat drivers can't smoke inside their trucks.:)

Yeah boxes ruined the oilfield so any joe blow could come in. We only did it for a little while then went back to door slamming. Didn't work for Halliburton tho, we got 75/hr detention after 1 hour. If you didn't have box and had to go run elsewhere you still got paid like you were loaded.

The owner posted on a sand hauling page that by the second day they had 2400 applications.2200 weren’t eligible because the news story said drivers and what they want is owner ops.

Jesus, you don't "blast" it out of the ground. It's under pressure and comes up on it's own until it's time for artificial lift. Sand just keeps the recently fractured rock formation from closing. It props it open. That's why it's called "proppant". They crack the formation with water, and flow sand in with it. When you finish pumping, the sand stays in the cracks, and you get to recover about 50% of the water.
