Teaming is rough to do. It can be profitable, but that gig sounds like a garbage dump wanting cheap labor.

Roadtex does run 6K - 7K a week. The 3000 miles is the guaranteed minimum pay.

A good idea to search within your soul to really come to grips with whether or not you can live in a truck with another human. Think about all of the things that can suck about having a room mate, but compound the problem by being crammed into a tiny living space that's constantly moving. If you're good with it... have fun.

If not, take the lower CPM for a little bit more "sanity per mile"

As others have said, think long and hard before getting into team driving. Regardless of how well you "think" you get along with other people, being cooped up in a small space with another human being 24/7/365 is a soul crusher. For me the biggest appeal of truck driving is the solitude. Just me, the road and my radio to enjoy the scenery. My worst month of truck driving was the month I spent with a trainer. Had I known how bad it would be before hand, I wouldn't have gotten into trucking.

    Numb Thanks this.

Talked to one of the Chicago 1099 outfits.
    Offering $1 a mile. Now that’s decent 1099 pay.
