FFE

When I was OTR, I always ran days and slept nights. But I was dry van. Very rarley I would run at night. It would just be something to get use to I guess... I have always heard thet grocery warehouses always had night and early morning delivery appointments. Thanks for the Info guys. Be safe!!

 

Well the DC (distribution center) I deliver to on the 12th is a 7am appt. And any load going to Laredo is an 8am appt (that's a laugh since it's honestly first come first serve everywhere I have gone down there). It's honestly just a tossup but deliveries and pickups can happen anywhere on the clock, but with a little work you can adjust like any other aspect of life.

 

Laredo.... I sure remeber that place. and being stuck there for days...Have you ever crossed the boarder with FFE ? I've been to Canada, but never to Mexico, And dont really want to neither

 

Yeah I have an 8 am in laredo tomorrow or as FFE calls it dolores which isn't on any map or gps LOL

 

I haven't crossed the border to Mexico, most of the brokering to Mexico goes through forwarding centers. Sitting in E. St. Louis right now gonna get a 34 and deliver 7am the 12th.

I don't do Canada ( I would do some Candian women though). With no type of incentive pay for messing with customs it isn't worth it to me.

 

Well i put my application in with FFE yesterday will see what happens.

 

Best of Luck to you. found out our holiday pay and I am not overly fond of it. I am due for hometime, but if I don't get there within next couple of days I will either have to cut hometime short of forget holiday pay.

5cpm on top of regular pay between the 20th and 1st. You have to be available for dispatch or under a load the entire time and it caps at $500 (like I am gonna get 10000 miles with way things have been recently). ahh Well I hope I can get it, the extra money would help alot.

 

Would you guys recommend FFE?
