Have to agree with you on the farmers. Remember a few years ago, we kept hearing about all the poor farmers, how they were struggling and could barely afford to eat themselves while working so hard to feed the world. Yet every farm I drove by, had a big house with 3 or 4 car garage, a couple brand new pickups and at least one new car, and all kinds of new equipment around.

I don't begrudge anyone for earning a great living, and certainly don't have anything against farmers, but no business should be subsidized by taxpayers.

P.S. Just because it paints itself red, doesn't mean it's not blue underneath.

 

We're in Raphine now, waiting on our loading appointment this afternoon. Probably be back here after we load until Saturday morning.

 

Well that wasn't fun

 

They rolled in with a big track hoe about eleven last night to push the end of this tube down.

It connects a silt pond to the lake and was replaced last fall. There was water running over the road. That's the only way in or out for the people that live on the far south end of the lake.

 

I feel like I stole a load from @PoleCrusher or @singlescrewshaker

 

Heck, they even secured it for me.

 

In horse drawn wagon days they had more room before the overpass.


That is it, finished. Headed to ranch.

 

I can now say I know what it feels like to pop the yellow knob at highway speed.

Looks like it's time for new tires. So suggestions for 11r24.5s that won't break the bank.
