I was with a certain trucking company for a total of 3 months and as i see it they were not the kind of company you could make a good deal of money with..Now with that being said i did however like the loads i was giving and the miles i racked up on that behalf, but the only two reasons i'm not with that company are.Lack of organization on behalf of fleet mgrs and co-drivers.I was out to make money and deliver my loads on time with no down time and no accidents..If i do find a company that is for that i am surely there..By the way the company i speak of wasn't all bad,but does have it's faults like many others out there in the industry..CRST Van Expedited..I wouldn't choose this company if you get a call from them.Thier just not up to par in my book, thx for reading this.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

So, do you know of any that ARE up to par?

Ok I kind of understand your point of view, but during these hard times, job hopping will come back bite you in the rear end.Personaly,I wouldn't left for those 2 reasons,if you where getting good miles and loads, why did you leave?Just be repair to be unemployed for a while, not to many compainies are hiring and now this the time where trucking compaines don't do much hiring.

I agree totally! If your getting miles and good runs nothing else matters. What do you care how messed up things are back at the HQ as long as your not part of it? For future reference dont ever leave a company that gives you good miles and runs unless there not paying you for them. JMHO -
wrong board, try the report a bad company one. For me it's not region, length of haul, or equipment. It's money, benifits, and home time. Equipment, has never been a problem for me, I stay away from companies with trucks older than 4 years.

I just want to make sure I am understanding your post. You quit CRST after 3 months with them, even though you were getting good loads and miles.
.... I see that you are still a rookie, is that 3 months the only experience you have or do you already have plenty of experience to go with that 3 months?
Did you quit and are looking for a ne company or did you get hired with another company then quit? -
i think he only had the three months and why would anyone leave for those reasons

I left this company cause they are team drivinf (ONLY) and i do have a lil more exp. total i have 7 months exp.,but this was a bad call on my behalf going with this company..Dispatch was leaving me in one place layed over for periods of times, not only that, but in places frieght was running wild and i couldn't get any loads out of..Yes i got good runs when i got them and yes i did get screwed plenty of times from some of those loads, not getting paid for them and haveing to call payroll..At times i got less of a percentage then my co-driver and he got paid for two of our loads (all miles)instead of them being split..So to cut a long story short i stayed with this company and got a new co-driver sometime later and this is what made me to decide to quit..My new co-driver couldn't drive the truck he couldn't downshift from high gears he would just throw it in the middle all the time..You know we would be coming up on a stop light about 1000ft and doing 60..and well he would basically stop hard with a load of 36000 in the box..No no no i don't like that i cherish my life a lil too much guys sorry..He jack knifed the truck tore the right rear extender and i even had to basically do his paperwork and tell him how to deal with shippers, consignees and so on..Hell if anything i should have got paid for my somewhat exp.teaching him and putting my life in jeperdy just being with him in that truck..Well i think ive ranted enough, but i wasnt going to do that..No i didnt leave cause i was getting good runs and yes i to look for the runs to be there,I do care if there long hauls cause thats where i get my money from....A trip from Ga to Bakersfield,CA is really nice money in my pocket and yes i would like to get all miles(practical) for myself instead of splitting them and then even have to worry about another person in the truck which i have a responsibility for...Just me and my truck my equipment and my miles makes for one hick of a good time..Not to mention the miles i can rack up on my own..Don't care too much if the truck is running 24/7 longer then solo drivers,i'de just like to get the job done make money for the company in return makes money for me and keep the customers happy to in which i get to run for them more and more..Yes i am still a rookie you could say,but i don't think ill ever feel like im not one even if i have been doing this for the better part of my life,so many things could and can go wrong out there and so many new things in which we all havent seen yet could come and bite us in the rear..thx for reading this .
