I don't knbow about Wisc., but Ohio requires it (serpentine backing) as part of their CDL driving skills test. You would be surprised how many times a week you do at least a part of the serpentine when baacking.

Hey Bentwheeler, The Junks run out of Auburn ,Maine hauling water for Poland Springs i found out.
-
Well, I never went into Maine.
Again, it could be the particular driver simply refuses to upgrade to a new truck.
Personally, I've never become emotionally attached to any vehicle, but I sure have known a lot of people who do... -
What bus company do you drive for?
-
Connection Christian Tours, Tuscumbia, AL
It's a part time deal that keeps my CDL current, and gets me out of my office doing something therapeutic.
Speaking of which, my mainmost job is counseling -- i.e., I listen a lot and grunt occasionally. -
Best wishes to you!

I worked for them for 7 to 8 months after i got my cdl. When I got put into my own truck I had Dale D. for a dispatcher. Weeks after that I was given a dispatcher in training. Her name was Tonya and she is still a dispatcher for some stupid reason. She would find you a load from one state to the next state or I would stay in the same state. Like from minneapolis to green bay. And then when you get there you are told to wait till the next day for another load and that one may just go to chicago. And all the time I still had hours that i could run. And they let me go saying that I was unable to get 10,000 miles in one month. How the h*** are you to get that many miles in one month if you are driving like this? Also when I was working there they offered health insurance. Lone behold they did not cover any of my sons medical exams. Also we had a 150.00 deductible for prescriptions. My son's pills were 75-80 a month. Oh then once we got the deductible paid, as soon as it turned to 2008. Guess what here we go again. We didnt even have the insurance for the 6 months. What a joke. And when I was dismissed they still charged me for medical insurance but the insurance company said we were not covered for that last week. Don't you think that it is a little odd?

Anyone know of any good local companies in the Twin Cities Metro Area? I am looking for short haul or even just local driving
-
10,000 miles in a month is getting to be a pretty tall order anymore.

My best friend worked there for a long time. He really enjoyed his time with them running their southeast region. He would still be there but for some "Improper relations" with his dispatcher
. They ended up getting married but apparently that didn't matter.
