hello all! well i've wanted to go OTR for 10+ years now im finally getting the opportunity my nephew is looking to buy a rig in jan. sometime 3 of us total so we plan to run 24/7 for awhile to get comfortable and establish ourselves. being trained by my brother in law. we're looking for a used truck to buy in jan. and a reefer. figured we can then haul produce or dry goods, whatever. i found this forum cause it was at the top of the search and i saw the words "best". i like it here sofar thanks to the admins and moderators for the fine work! i took the written test about 10 yrs ago and aced all 3 sections so i think ill be ok there when i redo it this month and get my permit. i decided to get involved with a forum cause this is where all the good info is found ive been a member of other forums about other subjects for over 3 yrs so forums are nothing new to me. thats about it for now i guess.

Hey Greg,
I lived in Hixton, Wi for a while when I was growing up. My dad worked in the taconite mine until it closed down. I think we used to go swimming at a beach in Merrilan, but don't quote me on that.Baack Thanks this. -

P.S. What's this - Wisconsin Friday or something? You, Baack, Msgt, Ton Bundle. I live down in gator country. My only connection to Wisconsin is that I'm only about 10 miles from where Brett grew up (oooh, bad subject?). Matter of fact, his dad (GRHS) was one of my football coaches in high school. Helluva coach, his dad!Baack and kickin chicken Thank this. -
If I had to guess I would say that the beach was in Hatfield,....Just down the road from Merrilan,...kickin chicken, _ton bundle and Baack Thank this.
