    Sounds to me she MAY have gotten into the truck with a PERVERT and something bad happen to her.. BUT, I will say this. My friend and i ran for Southern Cal and we made amost 2000-2500 a week EVEN in a slow economy. My wife graduates truck school next week and after she gets 3 months Exp. We are going to run for Southern Cal..

    I dont know what happened to you but I drove for SoCal as well, and even though I made it known up front that I was not willing to drive with a man, there were 2 times that I was given the choice to go home/stay home or give in. The first man did sexually harrass me, and the second man jus turned out to be a jerk. While they did respond well to both situations, I never should have been forced to choose between workn with a strange man (esp as a 5' 100# female) and they tried to do it again around the end of Jan 10. I quit this time.

    According to their website the starting pay is;
    1/2 - 3 years experience .17 cpm
    3- 5 years experience .175 cpm
    5-7 years experience .18 cpm
    8 or more years experience .185 cpm

    you get an extra .01 cpm for hazmat pay.

    This has got to be one of the lowest paid driving jobs out there today.

    In order to make any kind of money at this place you would have to run that truck 24 hours a day 6 to 7 days per week.

    I think thats for teams. They don't figure out who drives what they just split the mileage so you'll be making 17 cpm while your sleeping and driving.

    Well one things for sure is they didnt give you a good team partner. Some companies will just throw you in the first person they see. I wish you luck, if you continue to team.
