So I have this 2007 Freightliner Columbia, I want to swap the 14L with a 1999 Detroit 12.7 rebuilt/reman. How should I go about this?

It will bolt right in. Just need cash and someone to make the electronic side work. That takes more cash.

There are a lot of hackers out there so beware. Anyone I knew any good has stopped doing that type work. Sorry not much help there.
Dealers won't work on them anymore after changes.
They were pre DEF so a good hand could normally keep them running pretty well as is. Turn off the progressive shifting, max HP and shut off idle shut down. We got by pretty well that way.

    febreeezio Thanks this.
