Howdy,
Thought I would give this a try since all of my other efforts have had no results.
I am looking to get back on the road asap and wonder if an o/o or a company is looking for a driver.
I am 24 yrs old and have 13mon OTR T/T exp pullin 53' van. I did my training on a FL super 9(10spd) but am used to a Pete '87 13spd. I also have my hzmt endorsement as well. Am willing to learn other trlr pullin except T/D due to the extra stuff involved.
I am a hard worker and stick to the rules while driving (sad to say not like other drivers who wish to wreck their career on running illegal). FYI if you encourage your drivers or even suggest to them that "we need you to run this load" and the drivers time is up for the day dont bother contacting me.
Otherwise if you want a driver who will be honest with the books, keep a clean vehicle, and willing to run legally, by all means give me a ring or email.
Other info you might need, I have no vehicle crashes at all zero. Also had a speeding ticket july 06 but should be off the record (non cdl) by now.
My 2 "preventable" incidents are as follows. the first was dec 07 pulling into a reciever lot and got the trl stuck on a curb nxt to a t-pole but was able to back out of it and continue on.
the other was in the summer08 at the company yrd that i worked for after having hooked up to a trl and did my pre trip (ie tug test, tire chk, seal and lock doors, etc) i proceeded to pull out and the trl unhooked from the 5th wheel and landed on the back of the trk which i immediately stopped and that momentum slid the trl into the 5th wheel poking two holes in the nose of the trl. this of course was fixed in the shop but the company claimed it as a "preventable" incident.
So after reading all this if you are still interested please contact me asap.
Also i have attached my resume for your consideration.

Please refer to this post with the title so I know that you are interested.
Thanks and keep on trucking.![]()

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Anyone need a truck driver

i did ck but it still happend
jtrnr1951 Thanks this. -
I guess no one is needing a driver bad enough. Got no response so far. You got to wonder.

Well; you only have a year and have listed 2 preventables and a speeding ticket. Times are tough right now. Most co's and drivers know what logging 100% legal does. You are asking a lot and don't bring the best credentials to the table.

After a tug test if you look to see if the king pin is locked into the locking jaws and that the plate is flush with the 5th wheel and the release handle is all the way in and not out slightly there is no way the trailer will drop. Unless the king pin is broke or the locking jaws are defective. Pre-tripping the truck and trailer is part of the checks.

Thanks. i understand this stuff. the speeding ticket is off my record now as far as i know. but you know letting folks know what is in my best interest than not saying anything. i would rather have a company what an honest driver than someone who wants me to do things and not say something, which by the way is dishonest.
so again i ask anyone who needs an honest hardworking driver let me know. thanks -
Your wasting your time on big companies( insurance) and even small local companies, building materials and construction not untill maybe next spring and local frieght companies laying off or shutting down.I applied for a construction job and they had over 300 applications the first day.

Well guess no one is really looking. My credentials may not be top notch as everyone has their moments, but I can say that I am a safe driver, which Im sure others say as well, but having no accidents/crashes I dont think all can say that. These minor incidents dont hurt my driving ability or work ethic, just bumps in the road.

No , nobody is really looking . They already have more than enough applications to fill every opening they will have for the next 5 years .
