Where is everyone #5

We're just finally hitting summer. Nice 20 degrees out today.

 

"Old" friend of mine and her husband will come pick me up here tomorrow and will take me to her mother's home about 45 mins north of here..
Haven't seen her mother since the 2007... She will be cooking a nice lunch for us all... Will also see my friend's son again... he was a teen ager... now is married with a teenager son... Man... time flies...
And will visit my friends' jewelry workshop and shop... I used to make jewelry back in the 80's and had my own workshop in my place... She and I worked together at my booth on the street... that was an old chapter of my life...

 

You may call 20 degrees "nice".... totally understandable... you are in Canada... Down here in Rio that's considered "cold"....

 

I saw 36 degrees for a couple days up in the north. I almost melted. Dry heat up there too.

 

Ohh... c'mon... 36 is just perfect! Ok... just picking on you.... I have experienced 44 degrees here in Rio... that is burning hot...

 

My dad's 2 brothers came up for the weekend. My uncle Gary has learning learning disabilities, lives with my uncle. I took him with me yesterday down to Jersey City and a reload in Edison. He had a blast. Made his day

 

I have an uncle like that too, he collects big truck models. I took him to Chattanooga in my truck. He also had a good time.

 

Thursday's load to Albany. O/S to VT on Tuesday.

Ran 10.5 hours and 616 miles today. Sitting outside Baltimore, MD. Tomorrow should be interesting. Need to see if I can unload early. Why? Well I have a 2000 delivery time for the Coke load. But a preplan for a 1400 pick up afterwards. Kinda hard to do that if I can't get unloaded early. Not like this is TARDIS trucking.
