From the time I posted the pictures on the 13th til yesterday, I had only done 3 loads...only the last one was overweight at 62k it went 290 miles the other 2 were light...... less than 1k miles total. Those tires didn't look like that prior to loading the 62k piece of equipment. When I got unloaded I felt a bad vibration and that's what it was.....
Well now I know what running mis-matched sized tires does. The smaller tire kinda just skips along.

That smaller tire was being “drug” 14’ every single mile. It doesn’t take long to ruin a tire that way.black_dog106, cke and nikmirbre Thank this.

That's exactly why you never stick a new tire next to a worn one.

in TN you have to have the permit and oversize banner and strobe to comply with the kingpin rule
-
Only if you’re over 50’ from kingpin to rear of trailer or load. They are weird. Nearly all of our 53’ flats are over 50’ but never have an issue. Some scales love harassing rgn’s though.

Heres the funny thing. I picked up yesterday in Atlanta going to Detroit. I was legal height/weight/ but since I couldn't get flip up, and even if I did have the flip up, id technically still need a permit, I went to order permits for being 83ft long......Tennessee wouldn't take the payment because they said I was legal.....
cke Thanks this. -

Holy #### that's got like zero ground clearance.

Truck was 12'6 on the ground was trying to get it down so I wouldn't have to permit overheight......It rode pretty darn good like that.....delivered in Detroit this morning.....
