I worked for Cardinal back in the day...say 2008. Walmart Produce account in SoCal. Was a great gig. Only left because I moved to Lake Havasu Arizona. I would work for them again if it was feasible.

I was just reading a post that mentioned Cardinal and it sounded good so I searched and then found this post complaining about how he was left homeless on the side of the road. I have only been on this for a few days just trying to decide on how best to move forward and I have come to one absolute 100% factual undeniable conclusion. Every single trucking school, every single recruiter, & every single trucking company is both amazing and the absolute worst. I must have spent 4+ hours searching schools in a 200 mile or so radius and everyone of them is loaded with complaints and praise, the same is true with trucking companies. It seems this industry lacks any consistently good or bad companies, they are all equally good and bad at the same time. Not sure how this is even possible it sure seems this way to me. Now I realize you always have some complainers that will find fault in any company and they seem to be the ones that publish the most but honestly it is many, many posts from different people both pro and con. Makes it very hard to decide how to move forward.

If this is the only complaint you found here about cardinal I wouldn’t worry about it.I do live close to cardinal (concord nc)down the street actually never personally heard anything bad about them haven’t worked there tho they’ve been there for a long time but different owners used to be owned by a company named Carolina freight it was a good job then I know because I had friends there it was called cardinal freight carriers then.ABF bought Carolina freight then sold cardinal off I have no idea who owns them now.

There's better jobs around Cedar Rapids than 74k a year.

Does anyone have any recent experience with these guys?
They are advertising a local gig in denver at 28 bucks an hour plus overtime
I am guessing they come in and take over troubled contracts?
That pay is not bad for denver
