I am interested in leasing out my 2014 freightliner columbia semi truck. I have my own authority but can no longer drive the truck. How can I pay a driver, pay the truck note, pay myself, continue to pay insurance and other necessary expenses?

You mean hire a driver at lease onto another company?
-
Maybe post an ad and hire a driver?
-
Just sell the truck.

I mean contract a driver. I can't drive anymore.

Hire a driver on w2 or sell the truck makes the most sense. Either start your “fleet” of one and go from there or get out. Chances are maybe you’d do great but it’s not for everyone. Your 1 advantage is having your own authority. You can put the truck on the money if you know how. If you don’t know how then sell it, seriously.Roger McG, p608, Crude Truckin' and 1 other person Thank this.

What or how is "Put on the money"?
-
When you drove did you make a lot of money? Can you pay a driver 75k and still do well? If not then just sell it. What I mean by put it on the money is do you know where and when to run the truck to be profitable?Crude Truckin', Bean Jr., gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this.
