07 780 D12D Ultrashift. Truck sat for 2 months. Found check valve in Davco went bad and lost prime. Replaced check valve and leaking primer shaft(filter head). Good fuel pressure. Cranks and fires but won’t run. J1939 erratic data in Trans and VECU. All J1939 connectors OHM out good. ECU has good power and ground. Cleaned and checked all battery connections and grounds. Trans code will clear but then come back with 3 key switch cycles. All connections good on trans and ohm good per Eaton troubleshooting. It’s like a electric motor that has start and run capacitors and the run ones are bad.

When you 1st turn on the key the trans goes thru a ck. where it goes thru all gears and if you don't have any air like above above 60lbs or 90lbs it will not shift into hi range and won't go past that ck. point and will not start?

baha Thanks this.

OK go at it like its not getting any fuel yet. get a can of spray of starting fluid and put a small spray into air cleaner and keep giving it small sprays till it runs and starts running on its own fuel ?

Did you unplug the wiring harness from ecm and look for green on any of the wires on ecm or where wire plugs in to it, the small wires leading from batt. to ecm. have a fuse in it and it can get the green junk on it, take out the fuse and sand all conn. clean follow the wires from batt. all the way to ecm. looking for rubbed raw places, and look under all clamps that hold wires down for raw spots?

If it's stuck in gear the trans won't let it crank at all.... thats part of the trans self test....
Did you check BOTH fuses for the trans.. -
When you get the air up all the way up, then turn the Key on and push in the emergency brake button and put trans into N. then get a strap or chain and have the guy or gal pull on it just enough to take pressure off trans. and it will slip into N, it may take a few tugs to get to go into N, if it won't work pulling it from ft. try pulling it from back, just get in moving a bit and it should go in to N ?
Mrcubalibre Thanks this.
