I ran 4 gallons of it through my truck back when it first came out. I saw none of the benefits that others claim. My def consumption stayed the same and my truck ran the same as always. I figured giving them $1000 was enough so I stopped using it.

My uncle swears by it, I think power service works just as good on my 97 and a lot cheaper and easier to get

Me too. It's sad that people believe everything Bruce Mallinson and Kevin Rutherfraud tell them.

The whole point in using it is to keep your engine and emissions system clean. Soot will kill your motor and emissions. Say what you want about it, but I think it works. I use it and I don't have problems with my emissions system. I ran it in every fill up with the first 2 gallons now with every 3rd fill up just to maintain. The stuff is expensive no question about that. I think it's cheaper than constantly changing doser and sensors. The dealerships aren't cheap either. Any reduction in the use of def is negligible. Fuel mileage... Maybe 2/10 better.

Without visually inspecting sensors how would anyone know it does what they say? I track my def consumption same as my fuel and I saw no change, the range was the same as it was without. In my brain I was thinking a cleaner engine would use less def.

If they have data to prove it does what they say then I would consider it again when I get my new truck and try to keep things clean from the get go.

Id say this CAN have benifits in some application and ive heard mixed reactions on it working. It can and does reduce soot levels, how much is debateable and likely varies per engine and year of engine. Honestly though at $250 a gallon and 3200ish gallons treated per bottle....Just have your system cleaned every 6 months or so. Its about $1200 to do a full DEF and ERG clean and that will clean much better then a fuel additive will as well as lets them function test everything to detect problems early. The cost diffrence is a wash in most cases.

Didn't they design that snake oil of a tornado system to catch soot and then discontinued it because it was such a crock of bull? I remember seeing a YouTube video of a guy opening the catch can up after 30,000 miles and it had maybe a pinch of salt's worth of soot in it. These engines produce a lot more soot than that in a week yet alone 30,000 miles.
