I asked this before a couple of weeks ago but got no response. Just wondered if Heniff is any good to work for as a company driver? Is the pay any good? Looking at something like regional/otr. Stay out 7-10 days and off for 2-3 days.
-
So far so good, I’m a company driver/driver trainer out of Pasadena Tx. The last couple months they have been on point with their paying you in a timely manner. Of course I was with superior and we were bought out by heniff and it got off to a rocky start but it look like it’s getting better
I don’t know what terminal you would be out of, so of course every terminal operate differently -
What areas does Heniff run mostly? How do they pay, cpm or percentage?
-
Both, for now they give you a choice of mileage or percentage. They have otr or local regional, I do local/regional and out and backs
-
I’m torn lol between mileage pay which is $0.58 pm or percentage 24%. Any suggestions.
-
the downside to % is you dont get paid layover as much as the mileage. So if you end up sitting a lot you'll lose out. Also some freight is cheap, and 24% would be less than .58/mi.pathfinder1361 and Just passing by Thank this.

I had a percentage job once. A load from Houston to West Virginia took all my 70 hours due to delays/problems. I got 600 bucks for it. Got back to the yard, parked and quit. My 2 cents...
BlueThunderr, Speed_Drums and pathfinder1361 Thank this. -
Anyone been to Dow plaquemine lately. It's been a couple of years for me and wondering how the check in inspection process has changed with covid.
-
I have not been to Dow in plaquemine since before covid so really not sure what changes have been made.
Use to pick up a load right outside of Houston that we used to take to Dow on a regular basis, it was a pump off and waiting on lab approval sometimes would take between 3-4 hours. So the total time at that plant would be 6-8 hrs, haven’t done that load since covid and I’m not sure if heniff kept that run or not. I don’t really miss it, but I’m just curious if heniff did away with that run or covid.
