    Good morning everyone
I have a question in regards to my 2017 Freightliner, it hit 700k miles a few days ago and i want to prevent a major break down in the future, i understand the outcome is inevitable at some point an engine reman is unavoidable but at this point i can use some advice on maybe doing an inframe overhaul or replacing some parts to make this engine last longer before a major overhaul. Could you also please advise on the best place nationwide to do engine repairs in terms of affordability, experience and value for money?
    Thanks in advance.

There are places around much of the country called Interstate Power Systems, they are factory authorized Detroit repair shops with somewhat better rates, less wait times and more personalized service.

Granted, some dealers are better than others, so your mileage may vary.

Area doesn't matter to me, i run to all 48 states and i don't go home often, i can get it done anywhere. I'm leasing to a company that's based in Chicago, IL

Chicago area dealerships are some of the worst in the country. They're all owned by the same people. I go to Interstate instead of those dealers whenever I can. The Interstates in that area are good.

That’s not preventive, do a dyno and a blowby first, how are the OAs looking?

At 20k to 30k on DD15 rebuilds it hardly seems worth it . Oil samples and a dyno will give you the info needed . I'm almost at 800k on my 2014 cascadia and its running great .
