The HOS was revised a little under him. More flexible 30 min break and split sleeper. As well as a permanent fix to the 34hr reset. As far as anything pertaining to the ELD it was written, passed, signed into law and fought in the courts long before Trump was elected. Yet some here have tried to blame him for it multiple times.

I run GTA east as the usual 3rd leg of my triangle and other than the GTA, never have a tuff time finding a spot.
I roll into Napanee last week, driveway is full, out front where it says "no semis" it's full, I'm thinking "oh crap"
Had to be 30 spots out back. Lazy phuckers that wont park that far from the doors, or just cant back up?
A few of the east bound onroutes are too small and the design and planning seems like it was done by rain man, or some suit who knows it all, but has never driven a pickup little mind a semi.
My first 2 legs take me eastern seaboard over and down i81, there you will find parking problems. If your not done by 8pm, your paying.
If I could find something that paid well and had me leaving sunday evening or Monday for GTA and back every week I'd take it in a second. They all seem to know we want out of the US, and most who do want out will take a hair cut to get it.
    So I go south...

I think it’s laziness. I see so many drivers who avoid backing at all costs. They’re really just making it tougher for themselves because they’re passing up the opportunity to practise their backing skills.

I often seek out a tough spot to stay polished on backing. Especially with B-Trains.

What is the certification and compliance issue they have, is it related to Canadian compliance? A sales man named Seb**** keep calling me too.

    Thanks.

i know most carriers in my province use the isaac system while you may not be keen on buying something right away. Its a safe bet that they will have no choice but to certify or risk losing some big carriers

I think Shaw has the largest market share. I doubt many of the cell phone devices will meet the standard. That is if there really is a standard. How will US cross border carriers handle the requirement?

Didn't Shaw sell their e-log division? Some reason I think Omnitracs bought Shaw tracking.
