Lol, its amusing that their economists dont even know the definition of inflation.

 

I'm with you on the last part, and lately money takes me to short runs.

I'll never do 3500 miles a week. I have no interest in it. 2000 is about my limit. I don't live in the wide open like you do though.

 

In 2018 I was slacking off and rates back then, which I thought of as very good, were nowhere near those that we've had lately. The good rates of 2018 started in the Fall of 2017 and lasted about 12-14 months. So it is relatively not that long a time period. This year and this boom is so much stronger. It has been about 11-12 months already -started after those riots in all over the country. There is no telling how much longer it will go on but for as long as I get 4 -5 dol per mile on over 700-1000 runs I'll stay as busy for as long as I can. This way, I won't have any regrets when the good time comes to an end.
