Hey at least I didn’t buy a toaster oven thinking I could plug it up to a 12v like before and you busted my balls about it
Alright you smart sob, if I did install one, how do I run the fridge 24/7 without an APU and killing the batteries Huh? Don’t make me turn this truck back around and go back to Texas hahahahaha (idling 24/7 during winter, anyway, makes no sense unless at freezing temperature)
Brettj3876, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 3 others Thank this. -
Wire in the inverter, plug in the fridge and turn it on.
Edit: You know that the alternator charges the batteries when the engine is running right? It'd take 3+ days to kill the batteries with the in inverter running the fridge when the truck is off.Brettj3876, jamespmack, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
I think we both know there’s a good chance I’d burn my truck down; at least I borrowed a good plan to put my genny on my headache rack and run the extension cord under the truck and up the cab, just gotta take a knife and stabby stab a few holes into the floor, no big dealBrettj3876, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this.

@TripleSix At 11:15, about how far away do you think that gong is? Pretty impressive shooting for a handgun.

I did not know that actually, but back when I ran my 12v electric cooler with the engine off it would hit load shed pretty quickly lolBrettj3876, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this.

80 yards... I've never even tried to hit mine at that distance with a hand gun. I need to shoot more, but then I think of the cleaning and everything else involved and talk myself out of it lol.Brettj3876, farmerjohn64, singlescrewshaker and 10 others Thank this.

What's your take on this one, folks?

Ditto to carnage. I was running a lot of Wisconsin roads in 2019 and for someone used to deer collision in northern NY I was appalled. Surreal the carcasses everywhere...
We have Hunters against Hunger and the local cops often get them to come out if there's anything could be salvaged. I guess WI doesn't have that.

Actually if you eBay or Amazon it you can spend 250$ and get an actual compressor frig 12v. Works great. ZokopBrettj3876, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this.
