Let's tell the truth about inbound and outbound freight in the omaha region .
Contract rates outbound right now to me are about 2.40 cpm a mile max pulling my carriers trailer all costs associated with the trailer on the carrier.
Inbound to the omaha area is always cheap or you will bounce a long ways to get that good paying load .
All temp controlled carriers based in the omaha compete for loads back into the area and its cheap .
Yes rates are up but it isn't going to last .
rates going down

It may not but last year 2020 I was averaging 2.78 a mile out of Nebraska market and 2.58 inbound. That’s for the whole year including empty miles that were 6% for all miles ran.bzinger Thanks this.

I just don’t do grocery warehouses or meat plants. When you can drop snd hook it’s one thing but load snd unload every load amounts to to much down time. Then the sit snd wait until evening anc run all night. My hat off to ya.bzinger Thanks this.
