There are No other lines to that canister. Yes those are two different pumps. The lighter colored one is the one I pulled off because it was leaking. The black one is the one I installed and now it has two lines from the fuel shutoff one to the back of the head and one to the canister. But it used to only have one line from the afc to the manifold but I had to change it to two lines off one fitting, one to the manifold and one to the NTC. The black one in the picture was how it was configured when I pulled it off. The lighter colored pump is how I pulled it off. So basically I had to change up fittings so the black one would accept how the lines were on the pump I pulled off.

There is nothing factory about that tank.

That truck should have a line to the STC valve out of the solenoid as well as the feed line to the head.

Do away with that line to the canister and try it then.

I’m willing to try anything at this point. What line should connect to the AFC in the pump? Currently there is a line from it going straight up to the after cooler.

That is correct for the AFC, that is your boost signal line coming from the aftercooler.

    Bank79 Thanks this.

Alright last question. And I really do appreciate all the responses here. Where is the best area to hook the STC valve box to? Hook to the dual fitting from same afc hole, which currently is setup as one side to aftercooler and one side to STC or hook STC line to fitting out of shut off solenoid?

    What's an NTC box?

I think that little tank is a air canister that's supposed to go into the tee on your AFC. Check out SPT 92T5-14 which also shows a check valve/attenuator valve

The side of the fuel solenoid should go to the STC valve if you have one. SPT 90T6-10 shows the plumbing for that

    Bank79 Thanks this.

    NTC box?

    Do you mean STC?

That should have a fuel line in from pump, and a line out to the fuel return and then it should have an oil in from the block and then two lines up to the rocker boxes to supply the STC tappets with oil.
