Ok, we got towed to the dealer. Two days later, it was PT CAT wires that rubbed against the air compressor.
From the work order:
I drove vehicle into shop with MIL light on. I connected laptop and checked faults, found 520222/12 for ACM data not plausible with 1 occurrence, 521001/14 for automatic mode not available - gear shift no plausible with 1 occurrence, 521002/14 for DT12 automatic mode not available with 1 occurrence, 521003/14 for e - coast not available with 1 occurrence, 624/14 for PT - CAN data link failure with 1 occurrence, 625/8 for MCM PT - CAN DM1 message not received or has stopped arriving with 1 occurrence, 625/9 for ACM PT - CAN DM1 message not received or has stopped arriving with 1 occurrence, 1483/12 for MCM data - CAN time out with 1 occurrence, 1231/14 for PT - CAN communications error with 1 occurrence and 625/9 for PT - CAN heartbeat missing with 1 occurrence. I checked time stamps and found all faults to have occurred at about the same time. I began checking common places for the PT - CAN to rub and chafe. I found where the harness is damaged from rubbing on the bracket at air compressor. This was caused due to the harness not being secured to the bracket. I cut the cloth wrap out of the way and inspected, I found no other damaged places in the harness on the PT - CAN wires. I recommend repairing the rubbed place located. Will need to rewrap the section of harness with cloth tape and installed sections of heater hose over harness and secure to the bracket to prevent from chafing in the future. I sent parts requisition form for estimate. Will need to clear faults and test drive to check for any further problems.Attached Files:

I had the same issue and it was a loose wire going into the computer on top of the transmission.

I found this thread as my 2021 Cascadia with 365,000 mi started doing the same stuff and showed "PT Bus short to battery" error as the main fault. All others lights you can skip as they're just random result from the main fault. And it got especially worse when it was raining.
A temporarily "patch" was driving in Manual mode and avoiding driving at lower RPMs. No cruise. This helped me to drive almost 2,000 miles with a load to my shop. However, this symptoms may be different for every one as no one knows which exactly harness (or, could be a module, too) got damaged. Mine was acting on harsh bumps and joints (I left off the gas before them) or low rpms. So make your own judgement on how bad it is. But if it still can drive - most likely, you can do it to a good shop nearby. Just step off the gas so you don't destroy your transmission and other rotary parts when the engine is jerking.
There are four of PT CAN wiring harnesses - three main -Engine itself, DPF and Transmission and one connecting the three to the ECM. In my case the problem was in the DPF $550 (don't have the part number) and Transmission $250 (A06-90229-003) harnesses + labor.
This earlier post 2018 Freightliner Cascadia acting up, kicks out of cruise control. has wiring A66-09784-001. This one is for the Starter. I'm not sure if it is part of CAN bus. Anyways, there is a lot of CAN Bus wiring that can go damaged. So don't just blindly look or order any of the parts. A complete disassemble, unfortunately, will be needed to identify the cause. Mine, for example, had no visible damages until they were taken off.
p.s. this is not a GRND(-) wiring issue / "check your battery" advise. Unless all lights, dash and everything goes off on your truck. On my video it's clearly seen that only PT related mechanisms (Turbo PSI gauge) goes off.
