An inframe is more or less a major overhaul.
Keep up on maintenance and monitor your oil samples. Your engine will tell you when its getting tired. Very rare they just up and fail with no warning.

dynometer runs the engine on rollers while measuring torque and HP output
Blow-by in a test measuring the amount of combustion gasses that get by the rings and into the crankcase, looking at piston ring and cylinder liner wear.
Oil analysis is a lab test of a small sample of the drained oil. It looks for increased metals in the old oil, a sign of bottom wear. Done every oil change, any dramatic increase in copper or other metals compared to past samples and is a good indication of changing engine conditions. Sudden increase in metal indicates things are wearing out.freelife2010md and slow.rider Thank this. -
You should do oil samples every 20-25K as preventative maintenance. That will let you know small issues before they become big ones.
Keep a good eye on your fluid levels. You shouldn’t be adding coolant regularly, oil consumption for most people average around I gallon per 10-15K.
As long as you keep an eye on these and it stays that way you can put 1million plus on that motor with no issues.
There is no set time on an inframe it is based on how well you take care of it and keep the idle time down.freelife2010md and dztruck Thank this. -
