I see it now, your right and the nee proposed restrictions are insane as well
singlescrewshaker, TheLoadOut and PoleCrusher Thank this. -
I think we all have those 1099 outfits to thank for this one. Sooner or later they were going to put the kybosh on all that and the only way to do it was to get rid of 1099 entirely. IRS can't chase every scoff-law trying to pay employee drivers as contractors.
This would really upend the RV hauling business as well since all of those guys are 1099 contractors with their own power unit similar to how Mercer and Landstar work.gentleroger, singlescrewshaker, slow.rider and 3 others Thank this. -
No you can thank the people that voted for these left wing nut jobs who are currently running this country into the ground as quick as they can.Last edited: Jun 8, 2021

Yes thats where Im leased to. I run probably %80percent broker freight vs %20 admiral agent freight.(this may not be an accurate percentage) but, im free to do whatever, whenever, with whoever, as long as the customer/shipper/brokers credit meets a minimal standard.blairandgretchen, singlescrewshaker, Stray_Dog and 3 others Thank this.

But you run it under or thru AM still?singlescrewshaker Thanks this.

How many people you work for has nothing to do with it. The “B” part of the test says you can’t hire contractors to perform your primary business function. So a trucking company can’t hire a trucking company as a contractor.
gentleroger, Evil_E, D.Tibbitt and 6 others Thank this. -
