Walmart is a great company but the micromanagement would be a bit much for me also. I have several friends that have drove there for years. Love the money but hate the slip seating and constantly looking over their shoulder. Plus it took them 5 years to build enough senority to get part of the weekends off. Hard on their family life. 3 of them are divorced now.

Well, after 90 days at Wal-Mart it`s the been the best decision for me i wished i would have came aboard sooner. It beats pulling doubles for a foodservice company that`s for sure.

Right now i`m on a 6-2 schedule which really comes to a 5.5 days on 2.5 days off. On my sixth day i usually go home between noon-2pm.
I signed up for a 5/2-5/3 & 6-3 schedule recently, however i`m a newbie so i may not get neither of them.

    T.Rucker Thanks this.

People that complain about being "Micromanage" or being looked over their shoulder are considered as insecured type people, Wal-Mart let`s me drive their $200k rig therefore they have every right to keep up with me at all times, i personally have no problem with it.
If you work at a plant your being watched all the time too so really it`s no different.

    T.Rucker Thanks this.

GO FOR IT BROTHER! I’ve been trying to get
In w Walmart for years. They never hire where I live. Tells me, no one ever leaves that job. Pays the best of any trucking job for a company driver and full benefits on day 1. If you’re not a F up and can stay off your phone while driving? You’ll last there till you retire. I have 4 friends who’ve been there over 15-18 years each. Keep us posted plz and best of luck
