Hey hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas. I don’t know about you guys but my Terminal has been slammed. Me and my partner has been running hard. I ran 3600 miles last week. We have so much freight we don’t know what to do with it. I don’t know where this freight came from but I’m not complaining. I’m taking the extra work while it’s here. How are you guys doing?
Matt1924, 88 Alpha and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
@Kstrong86 whats up buddy good to see your doing good. My terminal is also slammed with freight and we also short handed of drivers.

Hey there, been really busy myself lately too. Haven't had much time to myself to sit and smell the roses. Owning my own rig has been a great challenge but very rewarding. I love what I do now and spend most of my time running out of Savannah into AL, TN, NC and SC. I do get to come home everyday. Hope everyone's holiday was as good as can be expected and I wish you guys much success in this new year. Its going to be a wild one I bet!dwells40, Texas_hwy_287, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.

What's up fellas just checking in hopefully yall busy working. Here on my side our terminal is been steady but some days I'm pushing 13 hours gotta get it while it's available. @Kstrong86 are you still working for AAA I was told by one of the drivers from another carrier(R&L) that you guys are building a second terminal in Houston.
Either way hopefully yall doing good keep on trucking. -
What’s going on driver. Oh yea I’m still here. Riding and gliding. I don’t plan on going anywhere. The income I want to make is there and the grass is not greener on the other side so I’ve heard from other drivers that have left here and went to other companies. And best of all I don’t have supervisors breathing down my neck. It’s laid back and as long as you know what you are suppose to do they don’t bother you.
Another terminal in Houston? I haven’t heard anything about that. I tell one thing though. We need a bigger terminal in Orlando. We have really outgrown this one and it’s time to move in a bigger facility. I’m glad you are still here and everything is working out for you. If the work is there take it and save up because when we slow down you won’t have nothing to worry about and you won’t be like most of the drivers I hear about crying about not having enough money but won’t do any extra work.
Be safe and keep on trucking.88 Alpha, Matt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -

I spoke briefly with dock manager at my old location when I heard the news just to give him a hard time. Apparently, not much in the day-to-day is going to be changing. No truck or uniform branding, etc. Reid Dove is just getting out of the business. Also, driver pay is going up to 32/hr. At least at that location here in GA. Heresay.Speed_Drums Thanks this.
