I might be tempted to give the driver facing camera a full moon and see if anyone comments on it.

Use it as the place you wipe your boogers.
Linte_Loco Thanks this. -
I just taped over mine since my wife is in the truck with me. Nobody said anything for a few days then I got a message about how my camera might be unplugged or something. Nope, seems to be working fine.

Where do drivers draw the line?. What’s next pulse ox monitor, BP cuff and retina scanners?. People are being conditioned to be controlled more snd more under the guise of safety. Falling all over themselves
And volunteering for it.
Wait for it my thought will be labeled as a conspiracy theorist.
Wait some day soon the government will want you monitored 24/7 to ensure you get proper rest and other such ######## to
Give everyone a warm fuzzy feeling and we’re all good safe responsible drivers, pilots or whatever occupation your in.nredfor88 Thanks this. -
Nah I’ll jump ship when a company puts any camera in my truck I don’t have direct control over.
I don’t do anything I shouldn’t.
I won’t even touch my peoplenet
My radio is voice controlled.
They’re trying to protect their equipment
I’m protecting my livelihood.
I don’t need some jack wagon sitting in the office hiding my every move. I #### sure won’t put my ability to feed my family in his hands.nredfor88 Thanks this. -
Any camera facing me would have electrical tape over it. If not they need it installed in the grill of the truck facing down the road. Personally, I would never drive for a company that had a camera in the cab.

The original post on page 1 mentioned a camera facing the driver.

Put pro stickers over the camera eye.
That’s what we did a Ward in Cleveland.
Then in company meetings, they said, “Oh, don’t worry about it, don’t waste your time putting pro stickers on that camera eye, that camera is never looking at you.
The other 4 camera eyes are the only ones operating, and their just looking at the road ahead, and at your mirrors, to see along the side of your trailer.
So we didn’t worry about it, and kept putting pro stickers over the driver facing camera.
Then a month later, they had a meeting telling us that we will be fired if we put pro stickers over the driver facing camera, even though it’s still never looking at us.
A month later, they said you will also be fired if ever seen playing at your phone or using your CB !
So I took my CB out, only use the iPhone at stops, drive my P&D route.
Then get off work and head for the bar… -
Sounds like they’re as bad as Saia.
