Can't find it on quickserve
I'm having dinner with a friend who's got a CPL book. I'll look it up tonight

Thank you, RocketScott! I sent a pm (I think) with my email address. I really appreciate it!
SmokinCAT, no, this engine is not equipped with variable timing. -
Those are oddities in the 855 world.
Are you rebuilding from scratch? -
This is an engine from a semi that a previous owner built his way, following no particular CPL. I rebuilt this engine last year, putting it back together the way it was from the previous owner, but I'm now putting the correct injectors and factory timing back for the original drill rig CPL. Thankfully, it already has the proper injection pump, cam, and pistons.
BoxCarKidd Thanks this. -
That is an automotive CPL so not much might have been changed. -
I'm not sure what the timing is currently at, I just measured gaskets and reassembled it the way it was when it came apart (didn't have access to a timing tool at the time and didn't know what timing the previous owner had had it set at). That is why I was needing the timing code for this CPL so I can check and adjust if needed. With the way it's running and building heat under load, I'm betting it has pretty hot timing in it, much hotter than this engine is supposed to be at.

I would doubt it would still be timed at .081 if used in a truck. That is stationary and gen set type timing. Doesn’t work welll when shifting a lot of gears.

He said it's in a drill rig
